Ali Musa Gilani said no election will be held in Multan if brother not recovered
MULTAN: Ali Musa Gilani, elder brother of Ali Hyder Gilani, who has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen from his hometown today, has said that he would not allow election process taking place in this constituency if his younger brother was not recovered till tonight.
Speaking to media, he said that his brother was not provided security guards. He said that guards were removed on pretext of withdrawing protocol.
Abdul Qadir Gilani, another brother of Hyder Gilani, said that neither guards nor arms were provided and they kept following ECP code of conduct and ended up with this incident.
CPO Gulam Muhammad Dogar said that it was an act of terrorists and cash prize has been announced to help arrest of the accused involved in the kidnapping of junior Gilani.
Ali Hyder Gilani, a son of former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani was kidnapped today during a corner meeting on the last day of official campaigning for the upcoming general election on May 11.
